When you run a check

We store the address you checked, the time, how many issues of each type we found, your country (from our hosting provider), and a one-way hash of your IP address. We hash the IP so we can limit how many free checks one visitor runs per hour; we never store the IP address itself.

To check a page, our server fetches it once, like a browser would. We don't store the page's content. Your full report is built in your browser, and downloading it saves a file to your device only.

If you leave your email for a follow-up

We store your email address, the page address, the full list of issues we found, the fact that you consented, your browser's user agent, your country, and the hashed IP. We use your email only to follow up about those results, from hello@tabstopaudits.com. We don't sell or share it.

Usage measurement

We use cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. We also record a few anonymous steps (a check started or finished, a report downloaded, a follow-up requested, an audit link clicked) with the checked site's hostname, campaign tags from the link you arrived on, and the hashed IP. These records never include your email address.

Verification

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare and processes some technical data about your browser.

Deletion

To have your email address and results deleted, email hello@tabstopaudits.com from that address and we'll remove them.
